Monist philosopher Adi Shankara summed up all the Upanishads in one phrase “Tat Twam Asi” (Thou Art That) and said that in the end, the ultimate, formless, inconceivable Brahman is the same as our soul, Atman. We only have to realize it through discrimination and piercing through Maya.
Sri Chinmoy describes the message of the Upanishads.
“The message of the Upanishads is the life divine, the life of transformed humanity, and the life of an illumined earth-consciousness. “
